Welcome! On behalf of the Board of Directors of the Black Hills Powwow Association, I invite you to come and enjoy the 26th Annual Black Hills Powwow slated for October 5-7, 2012, at the Rushmore Plaza Civic Center. The theme for this year’s Black Hills Powwow is “Strengthening Our Communities.” Everyone is welcome to enjoy the beauty of Great Plains indigenous song and dance. In addition to the powwow, spectators have the opportunity to enjoy a fine arts show, style show, scholarship He Sapa Win scholarship pageant, wellness symposium for youth, and tournaments for hand games, softball, golf, and archery.
